The Oberursel-based company will be adding a further destination on the African continent as of the 2010 summer season: Tunisia, where SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts will be represented with three establishments.
Built in a style typical of the country, SENTIDO Djerba Beach is located on the island of Djerba, directly by the long, fine sand beach. Its dome-shaped construction recalls the historical villages of southern Tunisia. Sports fans can experience a ride into the sunset, while guests seeking tranquility can enjoy a soothing massage or relaxing applications.
The second hotel is located on the Tunisian mainland. The SENTIDO Phenicia (see the photo) is situated on the hotel’s own, gently sloping sand beach. The centre of Hammamet with its numerous shopping opportunities and boasting one of Tunisia’s most beautiful oriental bazaars can be reached in just one hour. Sports lovers are also catered for: there are several golf courses in the direct vicinity of the hotel.
The third new hotel, the SENTIDO Tabarka Beach, is located directly by the beach in Tabarka, in the north of the country, which is little-known as a holiday destination, but is called the Black Forest of Tunisia on account of its lushly wooded mountains. The beautiful, expansive complex with an affiliated golf course and breathtaking sea view not only makes golfers’ hearts beat faster. Health-conscious guests can enjoy the hotel’s own thalassotherapy centre.
